Day 22’s pose is Reclined Hamstring Stretch or Anantasana.

If you can’t reach your toes, keep your leg bent or use a towel or strap to be reach your foot. With any stretch, you want to feel it in the belly of the muscle. If you are feeling a stretch or pain near the joint, back off. Your tendons and ligaments aren’t as pliable as muscle tissue, and trying to stretch them may result in injury.

With any of these poses, don’t take yourself too seriously.  If you don’t know if you are or not, someone will let you know. Today, my cat reminded me of that with the very unfortunate positioning of her tail. She missed the memo that this yoga stuff was VERY serious. Take some time to laugh today. Bonus points if you laugh at yourself.
